Law Clerks


DORSETT LAW FIRM will hire accomplished law school graduates as law clerks.  Successful candidates will bring superior educational credentials, organization, and adaptability.   Exceptional writing skills, a command of facts and a keen ability to synthesize and communicate the law within the factual context of a client’s case is required.  Superior listening skills is critical.

We hire candidates who value civility, collaboration, mindfulness and accountability.   

Clerkships will be temporary positions contemplating swift upward movement in the clerk's legal career. Law clerks are considered first to fill associate attorney positions at DORSETT LAW FIRM.

Interested law students or recent graduates may submit application at the address to the right.  Include a transcript, three (3) letters of reference by individuals who are personally knowledgeable about your performance in law school or employment situations, and a writing sample of no more than five (5) pages in length.

Candidates desiring positions as paralegals with DORSETT LAW FIRM must possess a bachelor's degree or commensurate experience as a paralegal for a private practice firm; no less than five (5) years experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.  Successful candidates will enjoy a high level of responsibility and autonomy with appropriate supervision and support from the attorneys they assist.
